Today at the Dig
This is the first post on my new archaeology blog and I don’t know exactly what I am hoping to accomplish with the blog, but I want to use it as a journal of sorts that will chronical my time in the archaeological profession.
Today, for example, I was involved in an excavation at the Sand Hollow Resort in Hurricane, Utah and I found a Humboldt projectile point in the grid square I was excavating. It is the 4th or 5th such projectile point we have found so far at this excavation but the first I have ever found.
